Terms and Conditions:
By participating in the Karista Refer & Win (Refer-a-Friend, Win an iPad and Apple Pencil!) campaign (the “Campaign”), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before participating:
a. The Campaign is open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age and reside in Canada.
b. Employees of Karista Mortgage and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Campaign.
2. Campaign Period:
a. The Campaign will run from October 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023 (the “Campaign Period”)
a. Each successful referral made during the Campaign Period will count as one entry for the draw.
b. To make a referral and be eligible for the prize:
i. Complete the Referral Form available on our website.
ii. Provide accurate information, including your name as the referrer and the details of the person you are referring.
iii. Ensure that the referred individual is aware of and consents to being referred.
iv. The referred individual must have a quick call with one of our Mortgage Strategy Managers to discuss their mortgage needs.
v. The referral will be considered valid and entered into the draw once the call has been completed.
c. There is no limit to the number of referrals that a client can make.
a. At the end of the Campaign Period, on January 8, 2024, one eligible entry will be randomly drawn to determine the winner of the prize.
b. The draw will be conducted fairly and transparently.
c. The winner will be notified by phone or email within one business day following the draw.
d. The winner’s name will be announced on our website and social media pages on January 10, 2024.
a. The prize for the Campaign is one brand new iPad (10th Generation) and an Apple Pencil.
b. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.
6. General Conditions:
a. By participating in the Campaign, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
b. Karista Mortgage reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent activity.
c. Karista Mortgage reserves the right to modify or cancel the Campaign at any time without prior notice.

Q: Can I (the referrer) be from outside Canada?
A: No, the Campaign is open only to legal residents of Canada. Referrers must meet the eligibility criteria stated in the terms and conditions to participate.
Q: What if I don’t know my referee’s email address and contact number?
A: We require both the email address and contact number so we may contact your referee to have a quick call with one of our Mortgage Strategy Managers. However, if your referee has an in-process file within the last 6 months or has had recent contact with our Mortgage Strategy Managers, they are not eligible for referral.
Q: May I refer more than once?
A: Absolutely! There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make during the Campaign Period. Each successful referral will count as one entry for the draw, increasing your chances of winning the iPad and Apple Pencil.
Q: Who can I refer to as a potential client?
A: You can refer anyone who is in need of mortgage services and meets the eligibility criteria. This includes individuals who are first-time homebuyers, looking to purchase a second home, seasoned real estate investors, or anyone seeking mortgage options.
